The Australian Klaviyo discipline 2026.

By Adam Ducquet · 8 June 2026 · 2 min read

Klaviyo has matured into the dominant Australian B2C email automation platform. Predictive segments mainstreamed. Deliverability discipline as table-stakes. Identity resolution working across logged-in vs anonymous sessions. Where Klaviyo discipline lives in 2026 across our 20 active programmes.

Six Klaviyo disciplines in 2026

1. Flow architecture done right

Welcome → Browse-abandonment → Cart-recovery → Post-purchase → Win-back. Built once, A/B-tested continuously, refreshed quarterly against current behavioural baselines. Most accounts have flows built in 2020-2022 that haven't been refreshed since.

2. Predictive segments activated

Klaviyo's predictive segments (likely-to-purchase, churn-risk, predicted gender, expected next purchase date, predicted CLV) consistently outperform behavioural segmentation. Mainstreamed in 2026. Brands not activating them are missing the easy efficiency gain.

3. Identity resolution

Klaviyo identity resolution working across logged-in customer events + anonymous browsing sessions + cross-device patterns. Without identity resolution, browse-abandonment flows fire on logged-out browsers but miss identified visitors. Operational discipline that compounds.

4. Dynamic content blocks

Per-segment content variation inside a single email, first-time vs repeat buyer, by predicted gender, by lifecycle stage, by product-category preference. The hidden lift in revenue per email send.

5. Deliverability discipline

Sending domain reputation, DKIM/DMARC alignment, bounce-rate hygiene, suppression list management, complaint-threshold awareness. The invisible ceiling on every Klaviyo programme. Most accounts have at least one deliverability gap.

6. Closed-loop with Meta + Google

Klaviyo segments piped to Meta as custom audiences. Meta-acquired customers piped back to Klaviyo for retention. Email-warmed audiences for paid retargeting. The closed-loop integration that compounds across paid + email simultaneously.
