Consumer / B2C marketing in Australia isn't one playbook, it's a small number of patterns that repeat across categories. We work across all of them.

B2C brands selling regulated or claim-heavy products. What "consumer specialist" actually buys you.
Capped-retainer commercial model
Monthly fixed-fee retainer with a defined scope ceiling. No surprise charges, no scope-creep invoicing, no margin on media. Founders know their monthly marketing cost to the dollar. Charleston's pattern: 26 unbroken months on a capped retainer. The B2C capped-retainer playbook →
Klaviyo across the entire book
Every consumer brand we run uses Klaviyo for email + SMS automation. We've built and maintained Klaviyo programmes across the consumer book. Subscription flows, abandon-cart series, post-purchase, win-back, deliverability discipline. Klaviyo specialist →
Meta CAPI server-side, by default
Every consumer brand we run on Meta gets server-side Conversions API integration, not the cookie-only browser pixel. Better signal quality, longer attribution windows, post-iOS resilience. Consent-aware, GA4-aligned, GTM-driven.
B2B Wholesale Portals on both platforms
Most of our consumer brands have a wholesale / B2B layer (retailer accounts, installer accounts, distributor accounts) running alongside the public B2C store. We build and maintain B2B-portal architecture on both Shopify (B2B + Locksmith) and WooCommerce (B2BKing) so the wholesale layer doesn't fight the B2C layer. Wholesale portals →

How Australian consumer brands typically engage us.
Paid-media-led, in-house production
Brands with their own in-house creative or production team. We run the paid-media flagship, Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo. Services billing is intentionally minor. Typical: media at cost + a flat management fee.
Founder-led, fixed monthly cap
Monthly fixed-fee retainer with a scope ceiling. We do creative, paid media, Klaviyo, reporting, all under the cap. No scope-creep invoicing. Typical: capped monthly retainer capped + media at cost.
Multi-brand consumer / FMCG
Multiple brand identities under one operating company. Shared paid-media + creative + reporting infrastructure. One account team across all brands. Typical: capped monthly retainer services + transparent media at cost.
Questions Australian consumer brands ask first.
Shopify or WooCommerce, which do you recommend?
Both, depending on the shape. Shopify wins on speed-to-launch, hosted reliability, app ecosystem, and B2C+wholesale dual-track at the founder tier. WooCommerce wins on catalogue depth, mid-market customisation, AU hosting control, and integration with legacy ERPs / wholesale workflows. Why Shopify and WooCommerce coexist →
Do you charge a margin on ad spend?
No. Media is passed through at cost, we share the platform invoice as proof. Our fee is transparent management fee on top (typically a flat fee on managed media). No hidden margin, no media-spend kickbacks.
What's the minimum monthly commitment?
Month-to-month, no lock-ins. Most consumer brands engage on a 3-month soft commitment to let the programme stabilise (creative cadence, attribution baseline, Klaviyo flows). After that it's month-to-month. 26 unbroken months at Charleston's is the long end of the bell curve, not the average.
Do I keep my ad accounts and Klaviyo if we part ways?
Yes. Every account is registered to your business, billed to your card, and accessed via your admin. We're a delegated user. If we part ways, we hand over admin access, archive our work, and step out, no data hostage situations.
Will I talk to Adam directly?
Yes, for the founder call and for strategic-review touchpoints throughout the engagement. Day-to-day delivery runs through the assigned account team. Senior-led delivery model, Adam is in the strategy seat across the consumer book, not gone after the pitch. Book a founder call →
Australian consumer brand?
Thirty-minute call. We'll look at your storefront, your Klaviyo, your paid-media split, and your wholesale layer. We'll tell you what we'd do differently, without commitment.
